A cloudy day in the desert

Finally I can post this beautiful maternity shoot which was done back in February. Which is one of the few months of rain we have here.
Though it didn’t rain during this desert maternity session but it was PRETTY cloudy.
Which I looooove!

First time parents-to-be Lisa and James were the sweetest couple and so much fun to photograph.
.
They did not have to wait much longer before they got to meet their sweet little baby boy.
Just a bit more than one week!!
.
But there was definitely enough time to drive out to the desert and let the world stand still for a little while.
.
It was just perfect to enjoy the peace and quietness the desert has in abundance for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the big city life and before baby made its appearance…
.
And today was a special day as I got to meet him!!

“Bump to Babe” to me is always the most special of shoots…
Can’t wait to show you the newborn session we did today,
