Firstly because mum-to-be Sarah had a very difficult pregnancy

with several hospital stays to be on the safe side and to carry her baby full term.

Secondly because they wanted to bring their furry baby along to the shoot

who was the sweetest and cutest pup. Enjoying being in the desert for the very first time ever!

She wanted this photoshoot so badly, we had to reschedule it a few times as she wasn’t feeling well enough

to head out to the desert.

I was actually very surprised when she told me to go ahead with it as she was going to deliver

her baby 3 days after our shoot!

But she was totally convinced she was up for it.

Adamant and fearless she was.

Which is the right mindset to face birth, motherhood and parenting if you ask me…
