How to take your own Newborn Photos

Dear Mama,

It breaks my heart to know that you won’t get to have your precious new baby photographed how you had envisioned.

With everything going on in the world today, a brand new baby is something to celebrate and enjoy

so I would love to help you document those first few days in the hospital or/and at home the best way you can.

I’m going to share a few tips with you about how to position your baby in the best light for the best possible photo. I’ll also share a few ideas about what to photograph. Little details that you won’t want to forget.

When you look back on these photos years from now and the tiny little human you created isn’t so tiny anymore, it won’t matter what kind of camera you used.

What matters Is being able to record this very special time. So don’t worry about having a fancy camera. A smartphone Is just fine!

You may not feel your best after just giving birth so have your partner read this with you.

Plus, it’s important that you get in a few photos as well and they can do that for you. Don’t worry about how you look. Just take the photo! You’ll be so happy you did!

I know it might not be how you imagined, but whatever you’re able to capture will be beautiful nonetheless. I hope this guide will help you to see the beauty that you can create all on your own.

with love,

Christine
