Like most people we are at the end of the second month of self-isolation and it seems like this experience has been a mix of plenty of adjustments and the whole array of feelings a human body & mind is able to experience.

Think outside the box, improvise, life has given you lemons? Make lemonade.

Lockdown is a tough game when you have a nearly 4 year old and a 6 year old..

I try my best, balancing everything, but I also do have moments where I am not feeling it anymore

and my motivation disappears giving space for some blues.

You don’t have to be happy all the time.

I love listening to music which has the power of taking me somewhere else.

My husband keeps telling me to turn it down.. so I’m wearing headphones about half of the day!

You might have seen me outdoors or in the supermarket in my quarantine look, face mask & big headphones.. My new normal.

There is so much uncertainty in the world right now – but here’s one thing we DO know for certain – we will eventually come out the other side of this.

I can’t wait!!!

And for the time being I created a photograph to visualise our quarantine time,

which is getting printed and framed to take a place on our home wall art.

I named it “KIDS IN A BOX 2020”

As a reminder of the hard times when all this is over..
